Back To Life: Integrated Marketing Campaign
For the better part of senior year, my partner and I cultivated a reintroduction campaign for LIFE Magazine, a previously discontinued publication. Our “Back to LIFE” campaign placed first in state in the category of Integrated Marketing Campaign, making us international qualifiers in DECA, an organization providing students with role play and mock business competitions. Our project included concrete initiatives that LIFE could truly employ such as a budget breakdown, a market analysis, and campaign objectives. Through modernized logos, design, deliverables, mock apps and website, social media and events, we were able to reintroduce LIFE in a unique and productive way.
Our in-depth research and analysis of LIFE’s history enabled us to present a convincing and trustworthy slide deck to DECA judges. Our knowledge in the campaign stemmed from not only meticulous research, but also a natural passion for vintage journalism, pop culture, and anthropology. Our project won for its creative concept, design proficiency, and ability to nail a realistic budget, and timeline.
